Speed up your Computer - Remove Adware, Malware & Spyware
Adware and Spyware are a curse of modern day computers. They are used to collect information on your surfing habits, and sometimes even credit card and personal details. This type of software can originate from many sources, sometimes installed programs, but most times just from going onto the wrong website.
So how do you get rid of it, well fortunately its simple and its free. Follow the next steps:
Download Ad-aware from here http://www.community.windowsreinstall.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showcat=22
Install the software
Update software
Now run a full system scan (This may take sometime, but on average about 5 minutes)
Once finished you will have scanning results, right click on it, left click on Select All and press next. This will delete all the Spyware and Adware on your computer.
If a file can't be deleted you will be prompted to scan on reboot, click OK, reboot and run scan.
Remember the "Free" version of Ad-aware has to be manually run, if you get loads of spyware then try a commercial version that will stop the programs being installed in the first place.
